The Denim Jacket

Denim jacket. Everyone has owned at least one. It can be paired with almost everything, but you must be careful with the matching in order to not look like a yunkie from 80’s wearing bleached out skinny jeans, glossy track-suit jacket and the denim one covering the latter… The first one I had I purchased it in the first 90’s. It was boy style and oversized. It accompanied me during all high-school years. I left it in some wardrobe because those large dimensions jacket were not cool anymore and I replaced it for Zara’s one, woman’s, cropped and tailored, which never separate from me in all college years.

It only has a cons and authorship is high school’s friend’s. He never separated from his denim jacket, either original blue or black or washed denim. But he was aware of this garment’s faults. One day he said that the denim jacket was a piece of clothes a little bit absurd, because when it was cold it doesn’t keep you warm and when it’s hell hot is a little bit unbearable. I have to agree with him, though I know that both of us are still keeping our denim jackets and tolerating weather inclemencies.

A denim total look is an option. Paired with white pants inspires summer by the seaside. Watch out! If you are wearing palazzo pants look for a tailored and cropped jacket. If you are wearing skinny  pants, you can always break the figure with one larger. With a dress, it’s another wise move. And I’m wearing it lately like a second coat, under an oversized blazer. We could keep listing thousands of mixes. And also doing a tour through our style from 90’s 2000’s. Everything returns, so retrieve your denim jackets from the garret.
