The Summer Shoes

I found them at Self Service Magazine web and at that moment my mind got full of memories. It was something like that torrent of images from my childhood when I saw the Riviera shoes in Seoul. That's it, dad had also worn these perforated lace-ups for maaaany summers. They were not exactly the same as these ones by Forte Forte (this pair is women's collection), but they tended more to that net of a wicker chair from an old-fashioned cafe and in which one a whole Balmain collection was inspired by, women Spring 2013. The most elegant gentlemen still wear them in Milano and the most fashionist ones as well when temperatures raise up. You don't need more than have a look to the pictures taken at streets of Milan or Florence during the Men's Fashion Week.

I know that my sister Andrea (more from XXIst century than XXth) is appalled by these such retro things, but we grown-ups feel thrilled when seeing that this footwear which should never disappear is still manufactured.
